19. "I'm Gonna Have To Science The S*** Out Of This" - The Martian
The Line: As stranded astronaut Mark Watney (Matt Damon) explains his predicament (that he's not only stuck on Mars but is fast running out of food) on a video log, he says, "In the face of overwhelming odds, I'm left with only one option, I'm gonna have to science the s*** out of this." Why It's Awesome: It's a line that's smart, funny and bada** all at once, and was used heavily in marketing to emphasise that the movie wasn't taking itself too seriously despite the perilous subject matter. It also makes science sound super-cool (as it already is) to a wider audience, which is always important. We're not saying the line is responsible for the film currently grossing over $590 million worldwide, but it certainly didn't hurt.
