20 Ludicrously Long Movie Titles You'd Probably Never Watch

12. Those Magnificent Men And Their Flying Machine, Or How I Flew From London To Paris In 25 Hours 11 Minutes (1965)

Magnificent MenWhat The...? Spoiler alert: the extended title for this classic caper pretty much confirms the ending before the film has even screened. The title was ultimately shortened for commercial release, Is It Any Good? They loved it at the time of release, and it even picked up an Oscar nomination for Best Screenwriting, among a generous handful of nominations from the BAFTAs, Academy and Golden Globes. It remains to this day an entertaining caper, and one of the finest movies of its type (and there are a surprising number of global race movies) - bettered only by It's A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World in those stakes.

11. The Fable Of The Kid Who Shifted His Ideals To Golf And Finally Became A Baseball Fan And Took The Only Known Cure (1916)

PandaWhat The...? An American short comedy silent film relating to baseball, naturally, set in Chicago with an unknown director, and distributed by Golden Film Company. And yes, that is an actual shot from the film, apparently. Quite how it relates to baseball, or indeed golf, remains to be seen. Is It Any Good? It's hard to be sure, since it's survival status is a little up in the air. The smart money is on the fact that no, it isn't.
