Oliver Stones study of the assassination of President Kennedy in Dallas in 1963 and the alleged Government cover-up is his masterpiece! On top of being the best film he has ever made, it is also notable for giving Kevin Costner his greatest role and for being the best conspiracy movie ever made in my opinion and the best film of the 90s. JFK is a bona fide modern classic in every way, shape and form with one of the greatest ensemble casts (too large to mention here!) of all times. It could have been twice as long as its 181 minute running time and it would still have felt too short! I adore every single frame of this film and whenever some flippant shit tries to deride Costner for what they feel he has become (although his journey to becoming a respected modern character actor is now seemingly underway), I always force upon them his performance in the courtroom finale of this very film! Forget all the accusations of it being nothing but fanciful propaganda as some have labelled it and just enjoy it for what it is a truly fantastic piece of cinema and a great director at the top of his game, exuding such confidence that he boldly presents dramatic suggestion as unarguable fact and rumour-mongering as documentary evidence! ... That's it! And remember, folks:
"It isn't paranoia if they're really out to get you!"

I'm a part-time writer, part-time stand-up comedian, full time movie geek who strongly believes Martin Brest's MIDNIGHT RUN is one of the greatest, if not THE greatest, movie ever made!
(... This is the bit where you mutter "You must be some sort of friggin' comedian if you think Midnight Run is the greatest movie ever made!")
I'm a massive junkie for 'revenge' and 'conspiracy' movies and I'm an even bigger fan of all things John Carpenter, Albert Brooks, Coen Brothers, Sidney Lumet, Paul Thomas Anderson, Tony Scott, Christopher Nolan, Michael Mann, Oliver Stone, Steven Spielberg, Joe Dante, David Fincher, Wes Anderson and Shane Meadows.
