Many of the moans, groans and other such sounds we hear the shuffling, flesh-hungry zombie hordes make in 1985’s Day of the Dead were provided by none other than Mark Dodson – the very same actor who voiced the character of Kowakian monkey-lizard Salacious Crumb, court jester to Jabba the Hutt, in Return of the Jedi.

Dodson was also one of the many voice actors behind the mogwai and gremlins in 1984’s Gremlins and its sequel Gremlins 2: The New Batch although most of these characters – barring those nasty gremlins, perhaps – are a tad more high-pitched than Romero’s undead.
