19. Danny Glover Worked On Saw For Just Two Days
Saw has a fascinating premise and a solid story but that's not enough for a film to do well at the box office. Because James Wan and Leigh Whannell were virtually unknown at the time, they needed their cast to have at least one big name to draw in a wider audience.
Luckily, they managed to bring Danny Glover into the production to play the role of Detective Tapp. According to Wan, the film's 18-day production was a big reason the renowned actor agreed to star in the project.
Even though Glover was in many key scenes, there was little time for rehearsals. As a result, Glover filmed all his scenes in two days! It could've been a nightmare to film so quickly but Wan stated Glover was incredibly professional and nailed all his scenes flawlessly.
