20 Mind-Blowing Facts You Never Knew About The Terminator Franchise

8. Linda Hamilton's Twin Sister Was Her T2 Double

One of the most memorable scenes in Terminator 2 sees the T-1000 - morphed into a replica of the hospital security guard - walk up to the astounded guard and kill him with a finger spike through the head. As many Terminator fans know, what's on show in this scene is no camera trick, but identical twins Don and Dan Stanton playing both guard and the disguised T-1000. The Stantons aren't the only twins to appear in T2, however. For scenes requiring two Linda Hamiltons to be on-screen at the same time, Cameron went for the next best thing and just hired Hamilton's twin sister Leslie. Leslie and Linda Hamilton can be seen on-screen together in Terminator 2 whenever the T-1000 is seen mimicking Sarah Connor; there's also another scene cut from the theatrical version that finds Sarah Connor facing a mirror image of herself.
