20 Mistakes You Probably Missed In Ghostbusters Movies

6. The Quickest Pimp My Ride Job Ever

Editing is something of a problem for the first Ghostbusters film; there are moments - particularly when Winston is being trained - when the timeline jumps all over the place, despite events happening at the same time, and it seems progression of time was an issue during filming. It€™s clearly an issue with the sequence that introduces Ecto-1 early in the film, since Ray buys the car the same day as the Ghostbusters do the job at the Sedgewick Hotel, lists all of the necessary repairs, and then miraculously completed them all the same day. The car is basically a wreck when he picks it up, but somehow when the car turns up to the hotel, it is repainted and fully equipped.
