15. Ant-Man Shrinks (Ant-Man)

In light of what we've just said, it's not only the relationship between the two main characters that will be key to Ant-Man's potential success. The very premise of the movie is a risk, in that it might be hard to take a tiny hero kicking ass seriously. We've seen some test footage that looked cool, but that's exactly what it was - test footage. It will probably have no bearing on what the final movie looks like at all. So, in order for us to take the very premise of this movie seriously, the titular hero's superpower must be done right - and the first time he uses it on screen will obviously set the precedent for fickle audience views about the whole thing. There is a legitimate danger that it could cause us to do nothing but laugh.
