8. The Collected
The third film in the Collector franchise has had quite the hellish path to the big screen, with shooting initially starting in September 2019, before it was shut down mere eights days into filming.
The precise nature of that situation has remained ambiguous, though because director Marcus Dunstan doesn't own the rights to the franchise, he was unable to resume production elsewhere. And so, The Collected lingered in limbo for almost five years, until Dunstan finally confirmed back in July that the film's legal issues had been resolved and it would indeed resume production in short order.
Though he didn't commit to a formal release date, Dunstan's optimism seems to suggest The Collected will be back filming by next year, which makes a 2026 release incredibly likely. Praise be.
