In case you can't get enough of Nicolas Cage's performance as Ben Reilly aka Spider-Man Noir in the animated Spider-Verse movies, he's now set to take the role into the live-action sphere with this eight-episode limited series.
Cage will play the title character as he reflects on his earlier life as a crime-fighting superhero in 1930s New York City, while Lamorne Morris will play journalist Robbie Robertson and the great Brendan Gleeson will portray a mob boss.
It's so unhinged that such a left-field spin-off project would ever get the greenlight, but considering how Spider-Man Noir was an easy stand-out in the Spider-Verse films and Cage will surely have a ton of fun digging deeper into the character, this is sure to be a must-see.
Considering that Cage famously shied away from the TV realm for many years, it's going to be a trip to see him finally fully embrace the small screen.
