Generating considerable buzz from its premiere at the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival, the directorial debut of Osgood Perkins stars Kiernan Shipka as Kat, a pupil at a Catholic boarding school whose parents mysteriously fail to come get her when winter break arrives. Left alone, Kat experiences nightmarish visions which suggest the Devil is out to get here.
Emma Roberts co-stars as a mysterious woman somehow connected with whatever is happening - and apparently we can expect some twists in the tale. The supporting cast also includes Lauren Holly, Lucy Boynton and James Remar.
