20 Most Disgusting Movie Deaths Since 2000

These videos are definitely NSFW. Or ever.

Given the vast number of on-screen deaths film fans have seen over the years, you might think filmmakers would have run out of new disgusting ways to dispatch their characters. Short of making an actual snuff movie, any method of death you care to think of has probably been faked, filmed and projected. Fortunately for fans of blood and guts, new filmmakers are always emerging to pick up the mantle where the old guard left off, eager to put their disgusting ideas to the test and go one step further than what has gone before. With the boundaries of good taste constantly shifting, on-screen violence which was once out of the question becomes permissible, a fact that more than a few directors are happy to take advantage of. The horror genre has been more resilient than most to the increased use of CGI in movies, and it's great to see that the majority of the disgusting death scenes featured in movies released since 2000 were achieved using practical effects. It will be a while before the pioneering work of special effects masters such as Tom Savini and Rob Bottin becomes a lost art, which is something all true horror fans will be grateful for. Here are 20 of the most disgusting movie deaths seen since 2000 - needless to say, these clips aren't suitable for work or lunch time...
