Horror-comedies aren't usually the best place to look if you're after particularly disgusting movie deaths, but Shaun Of The Dead managed to craft a nasty demise for the rather cowardly character David as well as nodding back to one of George Romero's finest moments. Holed up in the pub and surrounded by zombies, Shaun and the gang find themselves running out of options. Unlucky David gets too close to the windows and is suddenly pulled through by the attacking zombies, who proceed to literally tear him apart, opening up his stomach and spreading his innards out in a web of messy guts. It's a genuinely gross death scene, sure, but also a fitting tribute to the end met by the villainous Captain Rhodes in Romero's Day Of The Dead. Shaun Of The Dead stars Simon Pegg and Nick Frost would later appear as zombies themselves in Romero's Land Of The Dead. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kXjKUXgoyL4
