2. Rey & Kylo Ren Vs. The Praetorian Guards - Star Wars: The Last Jedi

When Rey (Daisy Ridley) is brought to Supreme Leader Snoke (Andy Serkis) by Kylo Ren (Adam Driver), Kylo is ordered to kill Rey, but instead goes into business for himself, using his Force powers to activate the lightsaber sat at Snoke's side, slicing him in half in one of the movie's most shocking moments.

What follows is a gloriously entertaining fight sequence, as Kylo and Rey team up to battle Snoke's elite Praetorian guards, with one guard being brutally fed into an electric fan, while another is insta-killed by Kylo when Rey throws him the saber and he turns it on for a moment, boring a hole through the guard's head.

Though Kylo and Rey's philosophies for the future end up differing by the end of the fight, it's still an astoundingly well-executed fight sequence, and arguably one of the very best in the history of the Star Wars franchise.
