7. The Power Of The Infinity Stones Vs The Power Of The Mystic Arts – Avengers: Infinity War
While Doctor Strange’s spells and feats of power in a post-Infinity War MCU have been entertaining to watch, they do not come close to the grandeur seen in the third Avengers film. After Thanos vented out his frustrations by hurling a moon at his enemies, the Sorcerer Supreme was the first to confront the souped-up warlord.
What ensued was a dazzling display of spells and creative uses of the Infinity Stones that highlighted just how far Stephen had come since his debut film. No one else in the film up until that point had forced Thanos to use all the stones he had on his person by that time, and Stephen did so with relative ease.
What is all the more impressive is that the Master of the Mystic Arts intentionally lost the fight so as to adhere to the sequence of events that would lead to Thanos’s defeat in Endgame.
