14. Hawkeye's Family - Avengers: Age Of Ultron
The Moment: When The Avengers need to lie low following the destruction in South Africa, Hawkeye flies them to his home. He then introduces the team to his wife and children, much to the heroes' surprise, and promises his wife that taking down Ultron will be his final mission with The Avengers.
Why It's So Ridiculous: Because Joss Whedon clearly went overboard on the fairly standard fare "character development" for Hawkeye in response to accusations that he spent far too long as a zombie in the original Avengers movie and was basically "the boring one" of the group.
Though he did get a few more moments to shine in Age of Ultron, all the family stuff didn't really add a whole lot of actual interest to the character, except rather smartly making us anticipate his demise and not realise that Quicksilver was in fact going to be the one to die.
