20 Most Surprising Rotten Tomatoes Scores Of 2017

Rotten Tomatoes Score: 92%

Considering that the three prior DCEU movies, Man of Steel, Batman v Superman and Suicide Squad, scored 55%, 27% and 26% respectively, there wasn't exactly much hope for Wonder Woman scoring anything above a mixed-positive 55-60% rating.

As it turned out, Wonder Woman scored shock raves to the surprise of even the most ardent and faithful DC fans, with the movie praised for Gal Gadot and Chris Pine's performances, the period setting, its optimistic and hopeful tone, and an atypical character-driven approach to the superhero genre.

We all wanted the movie to post a score that could sit comfortably alongside the Marvel Cinematic Universe's output, but how many actually thought it would happen?
