9. Devil Rape - Rosemary's Baby (1968)

Rosemary eats tainted mousse and wakes up hazily being tied to the bed with her husband and apartment dwellers standing around watching her in the nude. She is consoling herself that this a dream until she sees a demonic figure that looks like a scary, hairy demon pig with yellow eyes gazing at her and screams: "This is no dream! This is really happening!" and we shudder in fear as we feel Rosemary's helplessness at the hands of the Antichrist. Being impregnated by Satan is a pants wetting scary moment.

My first film watched was Carrie aged 2 on my dad's knee. Educated at The University of St Andrews and Trinity College Dublin. Fan of Arthouse, Exploitation, Horror, Euro Trash, Giallo, New French Extremism. Weaned at the bosom of a Russ Meyer starlet. The bleaker, artier or sleazier the better!
