10. Stomach Explosion - Alien (1979)

We weren't expecting that. So Kane had had some exposure to the alien but he seemed to recover and who would have thought his body would be used to incubate another alien? A classic scary moment made all the better by John Hurt's performance and some ace special effects.

My first film watched was Carrie aged 2 on my dad's knee. Educated at The University of St Andrews and Trinity College Dublin. Fan of Arthouse, Exploitation, Horror, Euro Trash, Giallo, New French Extremism. Weaned at the bosom of a Russ Meyer starlet. The bleaker, artier or sleazier the better!
