4. Diana Hijacks A Random Guy's Body - Wonder Woman 1984

Wonder Woman 1984 caught major flak for one single plot point above all others, the fact that Steve Trevor isn't simply resurrected out of thin air but instead placed inside the body of some random guy (Kristoffer Polaha) on Earth.

Essentially, Diana only gets to have "Steve" back by hijacking some poor dude's body, who in turn can't consent to anything that happens to him - namely, sex with Diana and repeated physical danger - while the film totally brushes it under the carpet.

All in all it's not a very heroic act on Diana's part, and just adds a level of ick to the movie it absolutely didn't need. Why not just have Steve be magicked back to life out of nowhere, and have him evaporate to dust when Max is defeated? Easy.
