Lars von Trier's new psychological horror film sure doesn't leave audiences wanting for wildly effed-up moments through its brutal 155-minute run-time, taking viewers on a travelogue through the mind of deranged murderer Jack (Matt Dillon) over 12 years of his life.

Some of the more memorably disturbing moments include: a woman (Uma Thurman) has her head caved in with a broken car jack, another woman's (Siobhan Fallon Hogan) corpse is dragged behind a car until it's worn to the bone, two boys are shot with a sniper rifle at a picnic before their mother (Sofie Gråbøl) is forced to pretend-feed them and a woman (Riley Keough) has both of her breasts cut off with one being left on a car windshield and the other tanned into a wallet.

And that's all before the very end of the movie, where Jack fashions a house of his victims' frozen corpses and disappears down a hole into Hell, where he attempts to climb his way to Heaven.

Naturally, Jack slips and falls down to Hell, before we smash cut to the end credits, where Buster Poindexter's all-too-apt rendition of "Hit the Road Jack" plays out.

It's sure not a movie for everyone, but if you're nevertheless craving a hearty meal of blackly hilarious cinematic weirdness, it doesn't get much more aggressively odd than this.
