Nicolas Cage's greatest strength as an actor is his willingness to throw himself headlong into extreme character transformations, contorting his face and screaming at the top of his lungs if he feels like it befits the character - as, let's be honest, it usually does.

So when Cage was cast as the protagonist of Willy's Wonderland, a horror-comedy in which he plays a janitor fighting possessed animatronic mascots, it seemed like a match made in heaven.

But few could've expected that the script would actually call for Cage to do the rarest of things - be the hell quiet. Indeed, Cage's unnamed janitor hero doesn't speak a single word of dialogue throughout the film, though certainly compensates for it by dispatching the mascots with a frenzied aggression.

Even so, a Nic Cage film without an array of bonkers verbal freakout moments is just so...weird.
