11. The Totally Insane Election - Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets Of Dumbledore
The third and possibly final entry into the Fantastic Beasts franchise revolved around a most unexpected of things - a magical beast known as a Qilin, which possesses the ability to see into a person's soul and also the future.
A Qilin is historically used to pick the new Supreme Mugwump of the International Confederation of Wizards (ICW), and Grindelwald's (Mads Mikkelsen) plan involved killing one of the two Qilin born at the start of the film, raising it from the dead and manipulating it into picking him as the new Mugwump.
This is precisely what happens, except Newt (Eddie Redmayne) has a plan, sneaking the surviving Qilin into the ritual and allowing it to pick someone truly worthy of the title - Vicência Santos (Maria Fernanda Cândido).
