What makes it award-worthy? A Cannes debut is likely for Love, and while Gaspar Noé tends to divide critics and audiences alike, perhaps this time around he'll get the recognition he deserves for being a truly visceral filmmaker capable of delivering the kind of "pure cinema" rarely seen these days. Or maybe he'll simply p*ss people off again - either way, it'll be worth checking out to see the final results.
