A quasi-sequel-reboot to the 1990 cult classic thriller, Flatliners is helmed by Niels Arden Oplev (the original The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo), and stars Ellen Page, Diego Luna, Nina Dobrev, James Norton and Kiersey Clemons as medical students who voltuntarily enter cardiac arrest in order to try and discover what lies beyond death.

Granted, this one could really go either way and build on the outlandishness of the original movie or just be a cheap cash-in, but at least it has one Hell of a cast which is majorly encouraging, and original star Kiefer Suthelrand will reprise his role as Nelson, which is all kinds of awesome.
