20 Music Videos Directed By Hollywood's Finest Filmmakers

6. David Fincher: Justin Timberlake Feat. Jay-Z - "Suit & Tie"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IsUsVbTj2AY Few names in all filmmaking, let alone Hollywood, perk up the ears quite like David Fincher. He is an artist, a lyricist and poet, and manages all of these skills and qualities through immediate camera angles and disposition. The great director has shot many music videos across his illustrious career with artists including Madonna, Nine Inch Nails and George Michael, but his most recent effort is tailor-made (no pun intended) to his thematic pallet. Reunited with star Justin Timberlake which whom he directed in The Social Network (2010), "Suit & Tie" screens with endless urgency and precision; just like his feature films. Through intimate and intrusive framing, Fincher ensures you don't look away by undressing and immersing his audience, and he does this consistently with every and all projects. The director-producer has previously offered titles including Fight Club (1999), The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo (2011) and most recently the exquisite Gone Girl (2014).
