11. Vin Diesel - The Last Witch Hunter

Vin Diesel's performance as Groot in Guardians of the Galaxy was able to increase everyone's affection for him (if not their complete confidence in his acting abilities); after a long string of action movies where he played pretty much the same person over and over again, it was fun to see him as a tree of few words. His next film hopes to take advantage of this newfound good will, as it is equal parts action and just plain bizarre. It's called The Last Witch Hunter, and revolves around a man who fights against witches in modern day New York. The film also stars Rose "You Know Nothing Jon Snow" Leslie and Elijah Wood, which creates a strange but intriguing cast list.
