1. Julian Glover
When youve been a Bond villain (Kristatos in For Your Eyes Only), an adversary to Indiana Jones (Walter Donovan in the Last Crusade), an Imperial officer (General Veers in The Empire Strikes Back) and a recurring cast member on Game of Thrones (Grand Maester Pycelle), a small voice part as a giant spider probably isnt something you consider amongst your biggest career highlights. Nevertheless, Julian Glover played the role of Aragog, a creature once kept as a pet by Hagrid before being released into the Forbidden Forest, in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. Visited by Harry and Ron at Hagrids behest, he attempts to kill the pair, though they escape from the grasp of his arachnid minions. In the books, Aragog dies in the Half Blood Prince, and his funeral is part of an important plot that sees Harry try and obtain information about horcruxes from Professor Slughorn. In the film adaptation, this storyline is featured, but Glovers vocals are not heard.
