20 People You Didn't Know Were In A Harry Potter Film

8. Miles Jupp

jupp It€™s probably something that he wants to forget, but Miles Jupp, now known as both a comedic actor (in Rev) and a comedian who frequents the television panel show circuit, first came to public attention as Archie the Inventor in the god-awful children€™s television series Balamory. In Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, he makes a small appearance at the beginning of the film, playing a television weatherman who speaks about the drought made clearly visible by Harry€™s surroundings.

7. Jessica Hynes

htnw Spaced, a love letter to nerd culture, may be the most underrated sitcom of all time. Involving the trio of Simon Pegg, Nick Frost and Edgar Wright, who are now known for their €˜Blood and Ice Cream trilogy€™ of Shaun Of The Dead, Hot Fuzz and the upcoming The World€™s End, the often-surreal show co-starred and was co-written by Jessica Stevenson, who became known professionally as Jessica Hynes following her marriage. Though her career hasn€™t reached the heights of her co-stars and collaborators, she remains a semi-regular fixture on British television and voiced Mafalda Hopkirk, the Ministry official who writes to Harry to inform him of his expulsion from Hogwarts, in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix The character appears in person in the seventh film, Deathly Hallows Part 1, as one of the three people that Harry, Ron and Hermione disguise themselves as to infiltrate the ministry. Bizarrely, the role was recast with the lesser known Sophie Thompson.
