20 Perfect Scenes In God-Awful Horror Movies

After the success of Scream, similar teen horrors hoped to cash in on the subgenre's surge in popularity. However, most copycats left little impression, including Valentine. 

In fact, there's only one scene in this subpar slasher worth watching. On Valentine's Day, vapid high schooler, Paige Prescott (Denise Richards) is relaxing in the hot tub when she encounters a masked killer, Cherub.

Rather than disposing of her then and there, the Cupid-masked psycho places the covering over the jacuzzi, trapping Paige within. Instead of letting her drown, Cherub drills holes into the covering, trying to impale his victim.

Naturally, Paige should swim away to avoid the drill. However, Paige is force to stay near the drill holes, since it's the only way to breathe. Even though this strategy causes Paige to get repeatedly stabbed, she doesn't have a choice.

Of course, Paige is only delaying the inevitable. Once Cherub has had his fun, he tosses the power tool into the water, electrocuting Paige to death. 

Paige may have been obnoxious, but you feel bad for her here, since she put one hell of a fight, despite the fact she was doomed from the start.
