20 Sci-Fi Movies EVERY Film Fan Should Have Seen

Okay so let's be real here: Nobody should really watch Avengers: Endgame without having watched the 21 previous Marvel Cinematic Universe films. It defies logic because this is literally the endgame so going into it without the knowledge of what came before would rob you of virtually all of its emotional punches, but this writer can't really recommend all of them because they'd absorb the whole bloody list and it wouldn't really be right to cram 21 movies into one entry because then you'd be reading a list about 41 Sci-Fi films you should have seen and not 20.

Getting back to the point, Avengers: Endgame may be a superhero movie at heart but it utilises some of science fiction's finest elements in order to produce a grand tale about time travel, advanced technology and a big purple alien intent on destroying the universe (well, half of it at least).

A cinematic marvel (yes, pun very much intended), it brought a decade-long story to a close in gargantuan fashion, leaving a mark on the Hollywood landscape the likes of which few could ever dream of - which is one of the many reasons as to why it's currently the all-time box office champion. And if you haven't seen it, just, well... what are you waiting for?

Just watch the other MCU films first, alright?
