20 Shamefully Bad Movies From Brilliant Actors

Joaquin Phoenix's performance in Reservation Road is pretty faultless, but Terry George's film is little more than a very heavy-handed discussion on morality in a tone more suited to Lifetime than the cinema. Clunky, very rough and trite beyond belief, somehow this movie with this cast got made.

Thankfully though, Phoenix has just about put this disaster behind him though with truly great performances in Inherent Vice, The Master, The Immigrant and Her.
