At the 2005 and 2019 ceremonies, the Razzies gave real-life politicians, who appeared in documentaries by Michael Moore (Fahrenheit 9/11 and Fahrenheit 11/9) and Dinesh D'Souza (Death of a Nation), Razzie nominations and awards, which was just very irritating and unfunny. This ceremony is supposed to be about film quality, not how skilled or unskilled politicians are.

Fahrenheit 9/11 won four awards: Worst Actor (George W. Bush), Worst Supporting Actor (Donald Rumsfield), Worst Supporting Actress (Britney Spears, even though she's appears for less than 20 seconds) and Worst Screen Combo (George Bush and either Condoleeza Rice or his pet goat. Rice was also nominated for Worst Supporting Actress.

Fahrenheit 11/9 won Worst Supporting Actress (Kellyanne Conway) and Melania Trump was nominated, while Fahrenheit 11/9 and Death of a Nation won two shared awards: Worst Actor (Donald Trump) and Worst Screen Combo (Donald Trump and his self-perpetuating pettiness).

Corrected:

For 2005, Worst Actor and Worst Supporting Actor could've gone to Cary Elwes and Leigh Whannel for the otherwise strong Saw, Worst Screen Couple could've gone to Tim Allen and Jamie Lee Curtis for the terrible Christmas with the Kranks and the Worst Supporting Actress nods could've been given to any of the terrible supporting performances in Mindhunters.

For 2019, James Corden should've been nominated for Worst Actor for Peter Rabbit, Rhonda Rousey (for Mile 22) and any of the Slender Man co-leads should've been nominated for Worst Supporting Actress and Welcome to Marwen should've been nominated for Worst Screen Combo (any two dolls).
