10. Interstellar Could Get A New South Park Film Made
The director's latest originally began as a Steven Spielberg project over at Paramount before Nolan took over as director, and it got shunted over to Warner Bros, who have released all his most recent productions, after they sought a stake in the project. In exchange for international distribution rights, Warner also offered Paramount the chance to co-finance a future sequel to the Friday The 13th reboot and - more intriguingly - the long-awaited follow-up to 1999's South Park: Bigger Longer & Uncut.
9. He Doesn't Like Leaks
Obviously no filmmaker likes to fall victim to that most modern of Hollywood maladies - the leaking of information prior to the release of a film - but Nolan seems to take it particularly personally. Despite taking careful precautions (like never letting people keep scripts, or filming under fake names - The Dark Knight was Rory's First Kiss, Interstellar was Flora's Letter) he demanded a meeting with Warner Bros top brass to "find and punish the person who had talked" about plans to re-record Tom Hardy's Bane voice in The Dark Knight Rises. Don't mess with the Nolan.
