8. Original Cinematographer Adam Kimmel Was Replaced During Pre-Production

Miller was originally planning to re-team with his Capote cinematographer Adam Kimmel for the movie, though he eventually had to be replaced by Christopher Nolan's regular DP Wally Pfister after Kimmel was charged with sexual assault and weapons and explosives possession during pre-production.

There's curiously little information available online about the outcome of Kimmel's case, though given that Kimmel is reportedly set to reunite with Miller on his next project, it apparently didn't sour their working relationship.
