Eva Green had an option in her contract to return in a future Bond film alongside Daniel Craig, despite her character's death in Casino Royale.

At first, she considered that this would likely be through a pre-recorded video or webcam footage, but later confirmed that this would not be the case, joking “So, yes there will be pictures and things like that. I don’t know who the Bond Girl’s gonna be. I’m a bit jealous! I hope it will be terrible! I will be the love of his life!”.

During the release of Casino Royale in November 2006, Eva Green had let it slip that Vesper Lynd “had an Algerian boyfriend.... The plan is, the Algerian boyfriend is going to be the baddie in the second Bond...”, so it was speculated that Dominic Greene would be Vesper’s lover in Quantum of Solace.

Nevertheless, a brief photoshoot with Eva Green and Simon Kassianides was staged during filming for the photographs that appear in Yusef Kabira’s file.

I started writing for WhatCulture in July 2020. I have always enjoyed reading and writing. I have contributed to several short story competitions and I have occasionally been fortunate enough to have my work published. During the COVID-19 lockdown, I also started reviewing films on my Facebook page. Numerous friends and contacts suggested that I should start my own website for reviewing films, but I wanted something a bit more diverse - and so here I am! My interests focus on film and television mainly, but I also occasionally produce articles that venture into other areas as well. In particular, I am a fan of the under appreciated sequel (of which there are many), but I also like the classics and the mainstream too.
