Caroline Munro, who portrayed Stromberg’s gorgeous assistant and lethal helicopter pilot, Naomi had been stung by a bee on her posterior immediately prior to filming the scene in which she collects James Bond and Anya Amasova (who are posing as Mr and Mrs Robert Sterling) from the Hotel Cala di Volpe on the Costa Smeralda in Sardinia.

She was still required to film the scene and, even though her sultry appearance adds to her seductive character in the finished film, she was not actually too pleased at having to do so. Ever the professional, however, she carried off Naomi's seductive byplay with Double-0 Seven without a hitch.

Munro had turned down the role of Ursa opposite Terence Stamp, Marlon Brando, Gene Hackman, and Christopher Reeve in Superman: The Movie (1978) and Superman II (1980) to appear in the tenth Bond film. Her voice was provided by actress, Barbara Jefford who had previously dubbed Daniela Bianchi in From Russia With Love (1963) and Molly Peters in Thunderball.

I started writing for WhatCulture in July 2020. I have always enjoyed reading and writing. I have contributed to several short story competitions and I have occasionally been fortunate enough to have my work published. During the COVID-19 lockdown, I also started reviewing films on my Facebook page. Numerous friends and contacts suggested that I should start my own website for reviewing films, but I wanted something a bit more diverse - and so here I am! My interests focus on film and television mainly, but I also occasionally produce articles that venture into other areas as well. In particular, I am a fan of the under appreciated sequel (of which there are many), but I also like the classics and the mainstream too.
