Double-0 Seven evades Fiona Volpe and Largo’s goons during the Junkanoo in Nassau by darting into the Kiss Kiss Club to clean up a bullet wound and hopefully avoid detection.

However, when Largo’s men find him, he makes things more difficult for them by manoeuvring a young lady onto the dance floor. Nevertheless, they are interrupted by Fiona, who cuts in on their dance, leading the young lady to accuse Bond of being married!

Bond's dance partner was portrayed by Diane Brown, better known as Diane Hartford, who was married to Huntington Hartford from 1962 until 1970. Huntington Hartford owned Paradise Island at the time and granted the filmmakers special permission to shoot Thunderball there, earning him a credit in the film.

He also owned The Ocean Club (now a Four Seasons resort), which featured prominently in Casino Royale (2006). Diane Brown also has a cameo in that film, playing Texas Hold ‘Em poker opposite Double-0 Seven (Daniel Craig) and Alex Dimitrios (Simon Abkarian).

I started writing for WhatCulture in July 2020. I have always enjoyed reading and writing. I have contributed to several short story competitions and I have occasionally been fortunate enough to have my work published. During the COVID-19 lockdown, I also started reviewing films on my Facebook page. Numerous friends and contacts suggested that I should start my own website for reviewing films, but I wanted something a bit more diverse - and so here I am! My interests focus on film and television mainly, but I also occasionally produce articles that venture into other areas as well. In particular, I am a fan of the under appreciated sequel (of which there are many), but I also like the classics and the mainstream too.
