Instead of simply being tossed on the scrapheap, Alicia Silverstone's Batgirl costume instead found a second life, and was repurposed and repainted before being used in the short-lived Birds of Prey series five years later, where it was worn by Dina Meyer's Barbara Gordon.

You're not alone if you didn't know that such a show even existed, because it only lasted for thirteen episodes between October 2002 and February 2003, with ratings and reviews both heading drastically downward in short order. Birds of Prey was positioned as the female-driven, Batman-adjacent version of Smallville, but despite making good use of discarded props from Batman & Robin, it came and went without anybody really noticing.

I don't do social media, so like or follow me in person but please maintain a safe distance or the authorities will be notified. Don't snap me though, I'll probably break. I was once labelled a misogynist on this very site in a twenty paragraph-long rant for daring to speak ill of the Twilight franchise. I stand by what I said, it's crap.
