20 Things You Didn't Know About Heat

2. The Real-Life Location Of Trejo's Death Contains A Bloody Surprise

Heat Al Pacino Robert De Niro Val Kilmer
Warner Bros.

In the third act of the movie, McCauley visits his crewmate Trejo's (Danny Trejo) house to find him bleeding out, having been fatally tortured.

It's a great scene, but apparently the movie's crew didn't quite do a good enough job of cleaning up the bloody death scene afterwards.

As a result, the future residents of the house saw the movie, got curious, and pulled up the area of carpet where Trejo died, only to find remnants of the movie blood underneath.

Would such a uniquely grim remnant improve the sale value of a house or not? Either way, neat.
