7. The Killer's Identity Is Foreshadowed Early On
Though Doofy isn't revealed to be the killer until the final minutes of the movie, a glaring clue is actually hidden in plain sight less than half-way through the film.
As reporter Gail Hailstorm (Cheri Oteri) runs past the police HQ while trying to score an interview with Cindy, the name "Doofy" can be momentarily seen spray-painted on the brick wall.
It's easily missed, and you might just assume that Doofy did the painting himself for kicks, but considering the context of the scene it's featured in, it's clearly foreshadowing a reveal just about nobody saw coming.
