5. Gail's Camerman Is Named Kenny As A Nod To The Film's Cinematographer, Francis Kenny
One of Scary Movie's low-key funniest characters is Gail's twitchy cameraman Kenny (Dan Joffre), who is literally credited as "Cameraman Kenny."
But this name wasn't chosen purely for its alliterative qualities or because the cameraman in Scream (W. Earl Brown) had the very same name, but as a shoutout to Scary Movie's cinematographer, Francis Kenny.
Kenny has been the director of photography on a number of prominent Hollywood comedies over the last three decades, including Heathers, Coneheads, Wayne's World 2, Bean, and How High, and more recently lensed most episodes of the hit FX series Justified.
