19. The Original Script Featured A Cameo For Jamie Lee Curtis
Scary Movie's screenplay went through numerous iterations before landing on the final shooting script, and an earlier draft included a cameo for one of Hollywood's pre-eminent Scream Queens herself, Jamie Lee Curtis.
The scene in question would've seen Curtis reprise the role of Halloween's final girl Laurie Strode, who Scary Movie's protagonist Cindy (Anna Faris) would find hiding in her closet while the killer was chasing her.
It probably would've scored a big laugh on sheer surprise factor alone, though Curtis seemingly wasn't quite ready for that level of self-parody just yet.
That came in 2002, when she dusted off Laurie for her much-loathed death scene in the disastrous Halloween: Resurrection.
