2. The Long Take Has An Invisible Cut

Whedon loves a long, steadicam panning shot to open his films - just look at the opening scene in Avengers: Age of Ultron. And, in Serenity, a panning shot takes us through the Serenity ship as the credits roll.

The shot does, however, have an invisible cut, and this occurs when Mal and Simon go down the stairs.
