In a delicious coincidence - or was it? - a few months after the American remake of The Office began airing and made stars of its ensemble cast, Steve Carell's Office co-star Jenna Fischer made a cameo appearance in this movie.

In the early bar scene, Fischer - who played Pam Beesly on The Office - can be momentarily seen as one of the bar's patrons, credited as "Woman #1."

Fischer isn't the only major Office actor to appear, though: Mindy Kaling, who played Kelly Kapoor, has a small but memorable role as David's (Paul Rudd) ex-girlfriend Amy.
