To add further authenticity to the movie, the three leads of Heather, Mike and Josh all made an agreement to stay in character for the duration of the film’s shoot.

As mentioned, the shoot was an eight-day affair and full of some intense planned and surprise shocks and scares for the trio.

Eight days to remain in character is a long old time, of course, and so there were the odd moment or two during the shoot where an actor needed to have a brief break from character. For those breaks, the word “taco” was used as a safety word – and let’s face it, who doesn’t love a taco?!

Upon hearing taco, all three actors would drop their guard for a short spell.
