7. A Stand In For Linda Blair Sued For Puking Credit
Eileen Dietz will be known to fans of The Exorcist for the demonic face seen in flashes throughout the film, but she also had a much less glamorous role in the film that wasn't recognised as much as she wanted.
Dietz would double for Linda Blair for the shots that required Regan to spew foul vomit. It was a fairly arduous process that meant Dietz couldn't keep her mouth closed or swallow for extended periods of time.
Dietz claimed that she wasn't given any credit for her work doubling for Blair in these scenes, despite having a Screen Actors Guild contract which she said entitled her to the credit. She subsequently chose to sue the studio.
Surprisingly, the puke-suit was unsuccessful, and Dietz hasn't received any further credit for doubling for Blair in the film.
