20 Things You Didn't Know About The Predator
1. The Predators Seem To Understand Human Holidays
Every year on December 25th, that magical day known as Christmas rolls around. People all over the world celebrate the arrival of Santa, knowing that he, his reindeer, and his elves have worked hard to make sure the good children of the world get their toys.
Unfortunately, the Predators seem to know this as well. And they are definitely on the naughty list.
To "celebrate" the release of The Predator to video in Dec 2018, Fox commissioned an animated video called The Predator Holiday Special. With the help of Matthew Senreich from Robot Chicken, a has-to-be-seen-to-be-believed short film was created combining the classic style of '60s holiday specials like Rudolph and Frosty with well-known scenes, quotes, and sound effects from the Predator film series.
The resulting two minute film is a blast. Despite being animated and cheery, it is NOT for kids, unless you want your kids growing up thinking that Santa and his gang are a pack of elite commandos with access to a vast arsenal.
If you're ready to put the last of your childhood to rest, give it a go, and make sure you watch till the very end for a cute nod to another epic franchise.
