20 Things You Didn't Know About Transformers

In the tradition of famous actors almost having voice roles in Transformers films, Scottish actor Ewan McGregor was almost cast as either Bumblebee or the Autobot medic Ratchet. This is no surprise, as McGregor previously starred in Bay's 2005 flick, The Island.

Of course, this never came to fruition as the decision was made to have Bumblebee be mute for the majority of the runtime and the role of Ratchet was given to Robert Foxworth, as his voice was deemed to better suit the Autobot medic.

Famous actors did eventually find themselves in voice roles for the Transformers, with John Goodman and Ken Watanabe appearing in the fourth entry.
