3. Peter Weller Was Pantless For Much Of His RoboCop Shoot

RoboCop is perhaps the closest any pure sci-fi film could ever come to also being a traditional superhero tale, albeit one that's darkly humorous and unflinchingly violent. However, as bad-ass as the image of RoboCop undoubtedly is, you might be pleased to know that every time you see RoboCop sitting in his car, Peter Weller had to perform those scenes in his underwear. Despite the image depicted on the iconic movie poster, Weller couldn't fit inside his police cruiser while wearing the full costume. So in any scene where he€™s at the wheel of the cop car, RoboCop is basically pantless. Peter Weller has said that the scariest scene to shoot was when he had to walk down a flight of stairs into a nightclub. Only wearing the top half of the costume, he was told not to look down as he walked down the tiny steps. With the smoke and loud music also in play, the whole experience was understandably disorienting.
